The choir went to Camberley on Saturday 10th March to present a concert to benefit the charity ASCT – Asian Students Christian Trust at the High Cross Church. It was a very enjoyable and worthwhile occasion for all. We received the following letter from David Cox MBE the ASCT Chairman.

12th March 2012

Dear Steve and all members of Rushmoor Male Voice Choir

Thank you and the entire Choir for the tremendous contribution you have made to help us at ASCT to raise funds for our work. We are delighted to say that the concert on Saturday night raised a wonderful £1006 which is much needed as we were facing real financial difficulties. It was obvious from the faces on the stage that everyone enjoys singing and taking part in your concerts.

We very much appreciate you accepting our request to hold the concert and I enclose a donation of £50 to cover some of your costs. I know the audience had a good evening hearing such a wide variety of music with many positive comments as people left the church.

Thanks again and best wishes for your concerts later this year

Yours sincerely

David Cox MBE
ASCT Chairman
