Rushmoor Male Voice Choir have announced plans for their first concert since COVID restrictions on singing performances were lifted.  The choir will perform as part of the Harvest Celebrations taking place at High Cross Church in Camberley on 25th September at 4 p.m.

During lockdown the only singing the choir were able to do was in online rehearsals and performances – and they even released recordings of the virtual choir performing Divine Brahma and You Raise Me Up, both of which can be viewed on YouTube and on the choir’s website at rushmoormvc.com.

Peter Viveash, Chairman of The Rushmoor ‘Odd Fellows’ Male Voice Choir, said “For eighteen months we have only been able to sing together virtually so the guys have been absolutely delighted to be able to get back together in the rehearsal room, even with certain safety measures in place, and are really looking forward to performing in front of an audience again. We are very grateful to High Cross for this opportunity. “

The High Cross Harvest Celebration on 25th September is free to enter for anyone and no tickets are required. The choir are also looking for new members – no audition is required and you don’t even have to read music – see the choir’s website for details.
